No serious reader can approach the Bible and read everything that can be interpreted other than Jesus of Nazareth was Jewish. There are a lot of people I met, however, want to re-interpret Jesus in the ethnicity of their choice – usually themselves. So, to answer your question, yes, there are actually people who believe that Jesus was of African descent seriously, rather than Jewish.
