Black Jesus Tattoos

I need help finding/designing the right cross tattoo!?

I want a cross tattoo. I keep saying I want a simple one, but not too simple.
I’m pretty sure it’s called a celtic cross.
Here are some ideas of what I want.

I really like the 4 corners on this one! But it’s a small picture so I can’t really get the detail..

I want it just black ink.
No banner, or extra crap around it.
No jesus on it either.

Any help?

First of all, Pauley’s cross is NOT a celtic cross. A celtic cross has a circle around the top, as seen here: http://www.celtarts.com/celtic.htm The cross you are referring to is commonly known as a Gothic Cross (no, not gothic, as in brooding kids in whiteface make-up and black clothes, but Gothic, as in the medieval style of art and architecture).

That said, a good source for potential images is to go to www.deviantart.com, and do a search for “gothic cross”. I’ve found that site to be a very valuable resource for tattoo images (and art in general).

And IMHO, you’re on the right track as far as keeping it simple and elegant in greyscale work, rather than clutter it up. I always prefer a good quality, well inked tat, rather than abunch of extra stuff to distract from the beauty of the main image.
