What are some good artists and famous paintings…really old ones…stuff like the picture of jesus at the passover table…and other religious paintings…or non religious…very weird painters and intriguing paintings

Caravaggio painted some of the most dramatic religious pictures. Leonardo’s ‘ Last Supper’ is the most famous version. William Blake’s pictures are stunning and mysterious. Hieronymus Bosch painted some very weird works, and one of my own favourite artists, the German 16th century master, Albrecht Durer, produced some pretty disturbing images as black and white engravings; check out ‘ Night, Death and the Devil’ and ‘ The Four Horsemen’.
