Historical Jesus Vs Christ

Has there ever been agreement on the Historical Jesus vs the Christ of Faith?

I used to be a Christian but when I see all the crime,war,disease,inhumanity in the world and suffering I wonder if religion causes more problems than it helps.

There is a book out recently something like Jesus the good man but the scoundrel Christ.

Perhaps there is something in that.

The Church has taken over the Christ and ignored the good Jesus.

Is this linked to the Dead Sea Scrolls with their good Teacher and their Wicked Priest?

The historical record has no unbiased accounts of a person remotely similar to Jesus. One would expect the great civilisations of that period to have documented it if a person was walking around claiming to be the son of god, drawing in huge crowds performing miracles, etc. There simply aren’t any.
