James Cameron Jesus Family Tomb

Posted on Saturday, October 11, 2008 in Uncategorized

Isn’t this ironic?

There is going to be a show on Discovery with James Cameron called the Lost Tomb of Jesus and as I am reading various religious scholars arguments how this could not be true. Their argument? Lack of evidence. For people who absolutely believe that Jesus was a god, his body rose from the dead and up into the sky, who believe that he changed water into wine, he walked on water….with absolutely no evidence that any of this happened. They believe because they have “faith” but yet when someone uncovers the family tomb of Jesus, the best argument is that there is no way to prove it? Since when do Christians believe in proof anyways? Their whole faith is based on lack of proof, is it not?

Maybe not ironic, but it will be interesting to see what happens next. It’s like the “Judas Gospel” they found last year. It will stir the Christians up for a while, then they’ll dismiss it as a “plot by Satan,” and that will be the end of it.
