When Jesus Christ physically walked the earth and died on the cross,who has proof to say where his body went?

The three particular groups at the time that would have had good reason to bring the body forward in order to prove that Jesus was a mere mortal were:
#1. The Pharisees – At the time it would have proven their every word to have been the utter truth and would have proven Jesus a fraud…but they never came forth with the body.

#2 The Roman Soldiers- They were the police at that time and kept law and order amongst all the people no matter what their background. Their reason to have produced Jesus’s body
would have been to say to the people-see here is the body- he was nothing more than a common man- go back to your homes and forget that this man ever existed!!- …but they never were able to do that.
#3. The new Christians were the third group who were almost immeadiately after Jesus’s death persecuted by the thousands.Brutally beaten,thrown to the lions,made into slaves. Would they not have good reason to have brought Jesus’s body forth if they had it… ? Honor tommorow!

Many people saw Jesus die on the cross. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind who was there that His body was dead when it was brought down, and handed over to Joseph of Arimathea.

On the Sunday morning, the women expected to find Jesus’ body in the tomb because they had come to dress it with herbs and oils.

The resurrected Jesus appeared first to Mary in the garden, and the Bible records that Jesus appeared to many other people as well prior to His ascension to heaven.

What is interesting is that the women who came to the garden expected to find Jesus dead, despite all that He had told them about the fact that He would only be dead for three days and God would raise Him again. This shows us that the Bible is a good record of what transpired. If it had have been written by men looking through rose coloured glasses, they would never had included such details as the women carrying the herbs etc, everyone would have been waiting for Jesus to come back, instead of running the way they did and hiding after Jesus’ death.

The Bible says that in the same way that Jesus returned to heaven, He will come back. As of now,Jesus sits at the right hand of God, until it is time for Him to come back…..Maranatha!
