Does Jesus having a child reduce his divinity or the church’s hold over people?

As many of you probably already know researchers recently found a tomb that is suspected to be that of Jesus because of the name on the individual coffins I suppose. The names I believe said Judas son of Jesus, Jesus son of Joseph, and Mary. However what you may not know is that when the Roman Empire first converted to Christianity is that they held a conference for times of holidays and what to put in the bible. They chose passages for the bible that would prove Jesus to be more divine to help the church in its war on other religions. When they chose holiday dates they accomadated their holidays to the religions they conquered such as Jesus was supposedly born in the middle of March, but we celebrate his birthday in December which is the major holiday of many of the pagan (paganism is not satanism but the belief in many gods) religions to help their conversion to Christianity. I think that the Church feels a lessening in Jesus’ divinity lessens their power over many people.

I don’t think that it does, because most enlightened Christians that I know understand that the ascension was “spiritual,” and not physical, so if they found his body and that he had a child, that’s ok.

I do think that the church doesn’t want anyone to know, because of the reasons that you have stated, but most people are smarter than that. Those who aren’t will deny it to the very end.
