Baptism of homemade cakes
As with all events of the life-milestone, marking the occasion of the baptism your child or a christening with a cake is a popular tradition. A simple but elegant and very traditional shape for a christening cake is the cake mold shaped cross. To do this, you can cook your cake in a regular baking sheet. Once cooled, the cake can be cut and shaped like a cross and decorated with your favorite frosting. Spread the butter cream or vanilla ice in a Royal thin layer on the surface area of the cake. Use food to some slight color tint frosting and additional use of a pocket provided with a fluted tip to pipe a decorative border.
Tiered christening cake
