Supernatural Episode

3 – A dark situation

The start

Things did not look at all good, during the beginning of this whole time, but then God came through. When the brain gets tampered with, either through a surgery, through a hard blow to the head, or other serious head injury major damage can be the result.

There is a lot that could go wrong in a surgery that I underwent. Many complications  could have resulted. See later in this chapter what could be affected by a wrong move!

The doctor operated on a very sensitive organ of the body. The operating neurologist said he saw my spinal cord! Accidentally doing something to the spinal cord could lead to numerous problems. God never slumbers or sleeps, Psalm 121:3 of the Bible
says. God is always watching over us even when we are asleep and can do nothing about the situation we are in. God has done this with me.

The devil tried to wipe me out during my High School years with a serious blood infection. He again tried to get rid of me as the head of my young family through this surgery, but God came through in both instances. The song is true which has as a
part of its lyrics, “…when I look back over my life, and I think things over, I can truly say, that I’ve been blessed, I’ve got a testimony.”

The main surgery

The whole private hospital (hospital number one) scenario seemed unreal that it could happen, but it did. I was told by my wife that I was too weak even to feed myself, and she had to feed me. I remember the pastor of our church came to visit me. This is when I was coherent, after the surgery and I asked how I was supposed to pay the bill. He said, “God can provide this need”. God provided through the church and they sent me checks each month during the time I was not able to do any work. They did
not know how much I needed, but it covered any bills I had for that month. God said He would provide for all of our needs. In Matthew 6:31, 32, Jesus says don’t worry, your heavenly Father knows what you need.

Lock down

The hospital was in a “lock down” mode because of Hurricane Rita, so I could not be transported to a “free”, or public, hospital (I had no private health insurance). I had to be treated at the hospital I was taken to by the ambulance. I was taken to the nearest private hospital and received extremely good surgical and post operative care.

Strange dream

Here is a strange vision I had while the surgery was going on (I don’t know when I dreamed it, just that I did). I saw around 8 people lying down in the room on beds having surgery. They were all lying on individual beds and one doctor was doing
surgery on everyone. I guess he did surgery on one and then he did the same surgery on someone else.

I do know that this dream was before I was in my ICU room because I did not have any dreams that I remember while in my hospital room.

More on the strange dream

In this strange dream, all these people were lying on their own table being operated on by one doctor. My skin was off of my body and hanging up next to the operating table (kind of like clothes hanging on a portable clothes rack). I was lying on the
operating table without any skin and just my muscle was being exposed. Some of the folks in the room were lying on their tables dead and a few were alive. More were dead than alive. My body (actually my muscles) was green. The surgeon was very
frustrated, and left this particular hospital room to ride his mountain bike. The doctor said “I’m going mountain biking”, he put on his helmet, picked up his bike and rode out of the operating room. The helmet and the bike were in the same room!

A compact disk

Thanks to the advances in technology, I was provided with what the situation actually was in compact disk (CD) format. It took me almost a year to actually look at this CD closely because I could not believe this whole thing actually happened.
