Jesus Camp Video

Why do some atheists complain about Jesus Camp, when there are far worse things done to kids in religion?

I’ve seen the youtube video on Jesus camp, I think it’s cool by the way. ^_^ But it would appear some atheists don’t, it appears they have a problem with it, but my thing is why? It’s no where near some of the things out there being done to kids in the name of religion, in fact, it’s probably one of the best.

So which “brainwashing” would you rather kids have, believing in a God Jesus, or being trained to hate Jews even from their youth?
Even if that’s true, death is not what I want, it isn’t what anyone teaches in Christianity. ^_^

Brainwashing is never a good thing. But you’re right, it’s not as heinous as some of the sexual abuse instigated against children in some other cults. However, that doesn’t make the conduct of the Jesus Camp acceptable or appropriate. Just not as bad as other things.
