Jesus Camp Watch

Jesus Camp and Fundamentalists?
I tried to watch Jesus Camp and I had to stop every 1/2 hour because it was almost terrifying, my question is: Are the ideas and people portrayed in the movie extremists even from the fundamentalists?
or rephrased
Are they a tiny percentage of fundamentalists?
Please understand that I do know the majority of christians are nothing like this and I’m wondering if they are a splinter group from the fundamentalist “group”?
I am a fundamentalists, and they are extreme. That is not what Christianity is all about. In fact they are not really fundamentalists. A fundamentalist is one who holds to the fundamentals of the faith including the bible being the inerrant word of God and the ONLY word of God. Those people do not accept the Bible as the only source of spitritual truth. They accept signs, and miracles, and feeling and bizarity of all types as proof of truth. Fundamentalists do not believe that. It is a shame that people associate them with fundamentalism in Christianity.
