Jesus Christ Superstar Musical Play

What cd version of Jesus Christ Superstar should I do ?!?!?

I will try my school production of the musical, and you want to hear in advance. Which version should I buy? I want a preference that highlights the violin parts, since it is the instrument I play. I could really use help on this point, because there are so many iTunes versions, and listening to the excerpts I have not heard a lot of violins!

Technically from a performance point of view of the originality is the best record in 1970, but the standards are incomplete. Rice and Webber added another 10 minutes or so for the staging. I found the soundtrack horrible, so maybe the London or Broadway version could be the full version and more decent. If you do not mind missing material (with an opening sequence HBTC, and the extended version with HBTC and priests, the song could we start are not in the original) the original cover Brown's best players and performance.
