Jesus Death Place Golgotha

isn’t it crazy to think that Jesus defeated death at the place of the skull/ golgotha/ calvary?

in order for God’s face to look upon man, God the Son had to face death, at the place of the skull… on the same mount that Abraham faced the grim task of offering up his son to God. isn’t that an immense thought?
im saying it is amazing! if believing in that makes me crazy, then by all means call me crazy, coz i can’t wrap my head around the works of God.

I understand what you mean! It is wild/crazy/awesome. Human language is just inadequate to express it and the human mind is equally inadequate to fully comprehend it! He’s a GREAT God!

And if we COULD “wrap our head around it” or fully grasp His ways, He wouldn’t be a God worthy of our worship, would He?

Behold, WHAT MANNER OF LOVE the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God!

When I think of stuff like this that is so hard to grasp, I think of the passage in Revelation that speaks of the heavenly being that is before the throne who — without ceasing — says, “Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty!”

I think when we get there, and fully understand (with our glorified minds) His Magnificence, there won’t much else on our minds, but praising Him like that Heavenly being!
