Can’t join the Marine Corps?

right now im in the Army system waiting on a waiver to come back so i can retake the physical this week but i been thinking lately about the Marine Corps so i started talking to a Marine recruiter and he ask me to i got any tattoos and i said yes i got one on my upper left arm its a pic of jesus face on a cross he told me since i can’t cover it up by hand i can’t join and he said he tried to get a waiver for it i was thinking how is that possible and i never sign any papers for the Marines

You can still join, my boyfriend has tattoos also. He just had to write when he got them and why he got them, and stuff like that and then they take a picture of you in the uniform to see if the uniform will cover it. You shouldn’t have any trouble with it.
