Jesus Fishing Boat Storm

Jesus calms a storm? Can you relate this story from the Bible with recovery from alcoholism?
The storm at sea was threatening to overtake the small fishing boat. The Disciples woke Jesus and ask him to save them from the storm. Jesus calmed the wind, Jesus calmed the waters.
How would you relate this story to recovery from alcoholism?
The storm is whatever comes against you in your life. It may be alcoholism, sickness, diseases, financial troubles, unemployment, marital issues etc. everything that comes and treathen your peace. Jesus shows us that we can have authority over all the storms of our lives with the power of His Word … Jesus walked on water, he can dominate the physical realm … if he can do it, he expects that his disciples do the same … because every good master expects that his disciples do better than himself.
If you have alcoholism issues in your life … you can overcome it if you believe.
Alcoholism is the storm … you are the disciple … Declare peace and peace will come.
With Jesus in the boat we can smile through the storm
