Is my lower back tatoo of Jesus on the Cross okay?

The other day I was leaning down to tie my shoe and I guess my lower back tattoo, which is of Jesus on the cross, was exposed just above my pant line. Some old lady comes up and starts hitting me with her hand bag and shouting that I am going to hell. What the hell??? It’s something personal to me and it’s my way of praising Jesus. Shouldn’t she just mind her own business?
