is it true that ontop of the well known 12 apostles, jesus also briefly employed an army of up to 3 dozen goons who would muscle shopkeeps for protection money and use intimidation and basic thuggery to get free ale and wine from local taverns?

the sahib at my local synagogue told me this….. I am seriously starting to question his devotion to the catholic church.
