Jesus Panting?

There was a painting that I saw years ago in a magazine (it might have been GQ) that had a painting of Jesus having just the best laugh. It wasn’t sacrilegious at all (please I really am not interested in that kind of stuff.)
I thought it was a really nice painting and I was wondering if anyone was familiar with it and who the artist was.

The original ‘Laughing Jesus ‘ art wasn’t a painting at all but a commissioned illustration that appeared with an article that ran in an issue of Playboy in the early 1970s. The image became so popular that it, and various likenesses to it, have appeared in everything from re-prints and other magazines to posters and coffee cups.

An interesting side note here: The illustrator who did the original art for the Playboy article, Ralph Kozak, was not a religious person when the work was commissioned. For all I know he still may not be. But he has made a lot of money for himself creating and selling faith based art since then.
