What do you think of the concept of portraying Jesus as he is described in the Bible?

Jesus is desribed as a bronze skinned man with hair of wool yet for centuries he has been potrayed as a caucasian with blonde hair and blue eyes and according to the Bible that’s NOT what he looked like. Even Mel Gibson was false in his “true” story of the last 48 hours of Jesus’ life called “The Passion of the Christ”. He still personified Him as a caucasian man but with brown hair and brown eyes as if it was some kind of consolation for not sticking to the truth after all. I believe he felt the movies gross income would not have been as great if he would have told the one truth that has been hidden all these years. Would religions worshipping the centuries wrong image of Jesus Christ change that image for the truth?
