Humor me, won’t you?

To Christians: Did not Jesus say “Love thy neighbor?” Are we not all neighbors, living together on this planet? Should we not all live together, equally, and freely? You all usually complain of being mistreated by other religions and opressing when, in truth, it is you whom is opressing others.

Can you not open your hearts and accept the differences of others?

We all have different nationalities, ethnicities, and religions. We should have the right to believe what we wish to believe. I hear you, Jesus said to tell everybody the good news. Though, last I checked, he didn’t say to shove it down people’s throats.

Why are you so fearful of others? You’re afraid of Pagans, whose religion is more ancient than your own (10000 BCE versus your 44AD or later) and worships and cares for the planet we all live on. You fear the Muslims, who share a God with you (or atleast claim to. Same with the Jews.)

Why can’t we all just get along? Where does it say in the Bible to hate Pagans?

Spreading the Word and shoving it down one’s throat are two different things. I am a Christian and I do not opress anyone. I do not force others to believe. I also have the right to speak about my faith just as you do and won’t be quieted by insults or hatred. I treat others as I wish to be treated. I do not group entire religions into a box because of the actions of a few. Maybe You should think about that. I fear no man. I hate no one. I hope you don’t either, unlike you, I will not assume you are a certain way until I know you personally. But hey that’s just me, and about two thousand people from my church alone.
