Jesus Nazareth 1977

The Best Jesus Movie Ever?
So many movies have been made about the life of Christ. I dislike the Passion because of all the QUICK reading that must be done in order to follow the movie. I also dislike how deep Gibson went into the movie in terms of the physical aspects of Jesus’ death. My favorite Jesus movie is JESUS OF NAZARETH made in 1977 starring Robert Powell as Jesus. This movie is about 6 hours long and the acting is fabulous, to say the least. I dislike the fact that in JESUS OF NAZARETH, the part where Jesus was taken to King Herod was not included. There are many other Jesus movies. I also like the 1959 Spanish Jesus movie called EL REDENTOR (The Redeemer). Very few movies include details of the resurretion as made clear in the Bible. Which is your favorite and why?
I vote for “Jesus of Nazareth”. Why? Just really well acted and well put together.
