Why would you want to be Jesus?
In another question, someone said that they were surprised that most Christians would not want to be Jesus. The poster then said that he would want to be Jesus. If you would want to be Jesus, WHY?
I am a Christian. I would NOT want to be Jesus. I was surprised anybody WOULD. My question is directed to the people who would want to BE Jesus. Not those who would want to be LIKE Him. I wonder why anyone would want to be a man who was tortured and killed at the age of 33.
I’d want to be Jesus because he was a human who was able to stay centered in his true self (God). He was able to respond to life instead of react to it. If I could be able to do that, life would be a pleasure instead of a burden.
