Why so much belief in a book thousands of years?

Why do Christians believe the Bible is the story of God and Jesus? What which suggests that this is not a book of ancient tales fictitious? If the Harry Potter books have been discoved thousands of years, do you think everyone would worship him "The Chosen One (aka Harry Potter)? Bear: No one can deny that the earth is there, I see it. Still, I do not let dictate my life. I tried to go to a youth group once and is simply being a Christian means following a lot of rules stupid wrote about in a book.

Try to be impartial here. The Bible is old, very old and its precision is certainly to be questioned, but it is something *. * As a former atheist, I know how many atheists have evidence, "none". It is the twilight zone where we have to ask, "Are we right?" In my humble opinion, a book or a belief is not enough. We must continually educate ourselves and seek answers on our own. I am not a Christian, but I would never say that the Abrahamic religions are not based on a kind of truth. Religions are closer knit than most of us think. We can not have originated in the Bible, but as I said, we should not necessarily doubt the inspiration of the Bible. New discoveries are made every day we learn a lot more than we knew in the past, and we should make an opportunity to question our current beliefs and learn from others.
