It says “Jesus Saves” on the front, and on the back “…and only takes half damage.”

What is the spiritual meaning of this?

In Dungeons and Dragons, when a player is attacked, he or she rolls some dice for what is called a “saving throw”. If the total of the dice is higher than a certain amount, then he or she has made his or her “saving throw” and his or her character only takes half damage. If not, then he or she has failed his or her “saving throw” and his or her character takes full damage. It’s been a long while since I played, so the details might be a bit off, but that’s generally the idea.

It has no spiritual meaning, it’s just a play on the term “Jesus saves”.
