Music Jesus Christ Superstar

Help with musicals for a class?
I’m taking a class tomorrow for a company who casts Broadway shows. They said one regular song I chose that, and one alternative song. Is Jesus Christ Superstar considered alternative? I don’t really know alternative music so any help would be great. Thanks!
Do you have a DICTIONARY and do you know how to USE it? Alternative, in THIS context means ANOTHER SONG YOU CAN SING IF YOU CAN’T SING THE FIRST CHOICE.
Superstar could be a PRIMARY song or it could be an ALTERNATIVE song… depending on if your first choice is not available.. And if you have to SING it.. then pick another song.
