Why do these people say these things wrong with me?

Last year in the 8th grade, I became friends with a girl who does not believe in God. Everyone has been cruel to her and people said horrible things to her, so I decided to make his acquaintance and be with her friend. We became friends quickly! Since I was kind to her, all children in school started calling me an atheist. I do not know why they would even say that because they know I am a Christian. I wore my necklace cross every day (I always) I got "I Love Jesus" on my school notebook. When I leave the classroom to use the toilet, I hear children say: "Oh my God, she is an atheist." They always say when I left the room, but they would never say it to my face. What is wrong with these kids? Why do they keep saying these things about me?

Lol, I wish my school was like yours, because if you are a Christian harass you at my school! And they are just saying you're an atheist because you're hanging out with an atheist and they realize that you are more domineering, because you can make friends and adapt to any person who is good in a package of rights because you are difficult to be top of the package, people will make you look hard they are higher in the 'package' they are.
