Accept Jesus? Then what does one do?

My background in religion right now is ‘my business’, nowever, I keep seeing posters say “Accept Jesus”…..

There’s more to the Christian walk than that. What follow-up should someone who accepts Jesus get involved in?

You want to introduce someone to the Christian life, but fail to help with advice on what to do next.

Would a Christian care to comment on what someone here should do after taking that initial step of “Accepting Jesus”?

make sure that you have also forgiven everyone of their sins that they committed to you so God will be able to forgive you of your own sins.
Have you ever been baptized?…if not….please dont waste any more time….get baptized right away….this will allow Jesus to put the Holy Spirit in you.
Now you need to start living like a Christian……God knows your mind and your heart…you can run but you cant hide, so do whatever it is you have to do to start living in Jesus footsteps!…..give up drinking, smoking, cursing, etc……or at least start really cutting back …but you have to make a real effort to avoid sin……even avoid non believers because they will influence you into committing sin!
Study the Bible!…. read….read….read!
the more you read…the more you will learn about Jesus and God…..the closer you draw to them…….the closer They will draw to you…..thats when the good stuff starts to happen!
One day you will see exactly what i mean….it just depends on the relationship you build with Jesus….be as true as you can….get as close as you can…its absolutely awesome!
